The Wiggles have always been a big part of everyday life at the Rize Hub.
Their music is played most days, so when the opportunity came up to see them live at QPAC in Brisbane, our participants were incredibly excited. Whenever The Wiggles visit our area, we try to attend because it is always a highlight for the entire crew.
We wanted to make the day feel special from the very beginning.
Everyone dressed in their favourite Wiggles colours, and the Rize Hub was decorated before the group left for the show. Our participants also helped create signs to take along, including:

The excitement continued during the trip to QPAC, with The Wiggles playing the entire way. The group sang along, smiled and talked about what they were most looking forward to seeing.
Singing, Dancing and Enjoying the Show
The performance was lively, fun and highly interactive.
Our participants were supported to enjoy the show in the way that suited them best. There was plenty of singing, dancing, laughter and time spent enjoying the experience together as a group.
One of the most memorable moments happened when Captain Feathersword noticed our crew and came over to give everyone a high five.
It was a small interaction that meant a great deal to the group and made the experience even more special.
More Than Just a Day Out
Community outings like this are an important part of life at Rize Support because they are based on the genuine interests of our participants.
Seeing The Wiggles live gave the group an opportunity to spend time with friends, enjoy something they love and be part of an exciting event in the wider Brisbane community.
These experiences can support confidence, social connection and independence, but most importantly, they create moments of happiness and memories that participants can continue talking about long after the event.
The entire crew had an incredible time, and we are already looking forward to the next opportunity to see The Wiggles together.
